Men of Action, M.A.K.

A group of gentlemen, many Keizer Chamber business owners, but not all, who get involved and help out when there's a need for action.

What we do

Showing up when Keizer needs it

M.A.K. is a compilation of Keizer Chamber business owners and community members. Members show up when the ladies of K.N.O.W. have a need outside their scope of planning, or when the community is in need of some heavy lifters.

Holiday lights installations, Giving Basket delivery, dugout builds, library moves, and yard cleanups, if there's a need, M.A.K. is there.

Where you'll find us

Five ways M.A.K. shows up

A quick tour of the projects M.A.K. tackles across Keizer each year.

Holiday lights & Giving Baskets

From hanging Keizer's holiday lights to loading, delivering, and cleaning up after the Chamber's Giving Basket program each December.

Ballfield & park builds

Volunteer construction days at local parks, including dugouts at Bob Parsons and Soto-Bethel fields so Keizer kids have safe places to play.

Community cleanups

Yard, lot, and grounds cleanups around town, O'Rielly's, community dinner venues, Liberty House, and wherever an extra crew is needed.

Supporting KNOW at Percey

Every May, MAK shows up in themed dress to help the Keizer Network of Women pull off the Percey auction that funds the Giving Baskets.

Local moves & heavy lifting

When Keizer institutions need muscle, like the move into the new Keizer Library, MAK brings the trucks, hand carts, and manpower.
