Dan Clem

Executive Director

Dan brings decades of leadership experience in chamber management, nonprofit leadership, public service, and business advocacy. He has worked closely with local businesses, elected officials, and community organizations throughout the Salem-Keizer region for more than twenty-five years, with a strong focus on economic development, collaboration, and community engagement.

Dan has served in a variety of leadership roles, including CEO of the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce, Executive Director of the Salem Union Gospel Mission, legislative affairs consultant for the Oregon State Chambers of Commerce, and as an elected Salem City Councilor. He has also held senior state leadership positions, including Director of the Oregon Department of Aviation. Throughout his career, Dan has overseen complex organizations, managed multi-million-dollar budgets, and led successful fundraising and capital campaigns.

Dan holds a Master of Business Administration from Oregon State University and a Bachelor of Science in Management and Communications from Concordia University. He is a retired U.S. Army and Oregon Army National Guard officer with 25 years of military service.

In his spare time, Dan enjoys spending time with his family, volunteering in the community, traveling, music, and outdoor activities. He is married to his wife Debbie and is the proud father of seven children and grandfather to thirteen.

Dan plays a key role in advancing the mission of the Keizer Chamber of Commerce by supporting local businesses, strengthening partnerships, and helping build a vibrant, engaged, and resilient Keizer community.

Jill Gust

Administrative Assistant/ Events Coordinator

I was born and raised in Keizer and am a proud graduate of McNary High School. The highlights of my life are my three beautiful children. Thanks to them being part of sports at McNary, I have become secretary of the McNary Athletic Booster Club. Through all of my volunteering, I have been able to give back to this wonderful community. My goal is to help our town continue to grow and stay a safe and positive place to raise a family. When I am not volunteering or working, I enjoy crafts, gardening, and spending time with my family. Not to mention watching my kids, nieces, and nephews play sports.

Jill is in charge of keeping our visitors informed about our beautiful city and helping with the planning of the various events organized by the chamber throughout the year.
